The series of gay weddings as a result of the Supreme Court’s ruling on the unconstitutionality of the law banning gay marriuages may have led to the onslaught of celebrity wedding plans including that of Ellen and Portia de Rossi which, according to People Magazine are already on the works.

People Magazine reported that Ellen DeGeneres has given Portia a pink diamond for their dream wedding, part of which will be aired in Ellen’s Show. DeGeneres admitted to People Magazine during the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards that they have set a date for the wedding.

DeGeneres said that it might look silly now but people will hopregully look bakc and see gay marriages as according equal rights to men and women like giving women the right to vote.

Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft is perhaps one of the best loved and most popular billionaires around. This Harvard drop-out may have amassed wealth but he is not greedy at all, donating most of his money in cause-oriented foundations that seeks to find a cure for some ill that society has.

Well, Fortune Magazine has reported that Bill Gates is about to retire from the company but not from humanity. While an ordinary person would think of relaxing and traveling, Bill Gates is excited about his retirement so he can spend more time trying to find a way to stop malaria.

Bill Gates may still be at the ripe old age of 53 but his retirement plans have been at the back of his mind for a long time now to pave the way for more altruistic pursuits. Fortune Magazine reports that Bill Gates has always been a utopian believing that every problem the world has can be solved using the IQ.

But with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and Ray Ozzie in the helm of Mirosoft, Bill Gates can sleep tightly at night even while on retirement.

Cosmopolitan Magazine has spotted not a few celebrities wearing yello and it’s not going to let them get away with it! So is yellow the color of the year?

Among those spotted by Cosmopolitan Magazine wearing yellow are Eva Longoria Parker and Becki Newton (both wearing a very dark tellow-orange dress), Eliza Dushku, Emmy Rossum, January Jones and Leighton Meester.

A quick look at the runway shows that cheery yellow from canary yellow to acid yellow have indeed ruled the Spring 2008 Runways.  To make the most of the color make sure you match it with neutral-olored shoes and accessories like beige or cream.

So are these celebrities merely celebrating the season with these summer hues? Just asking.

OK Magazine joins the family and friends in mourning the death of NBC’s “Meet The Press” host Tim Russert. Russert was back from a vacation in Italy and immediately went to work to finish recording some programs when he collapsed at the NBC Washington News Bureau last Friday.

The executives at NBC has issued a statement on Russert’s death and as per OK Magazine’s report,they are deeply grieving the loss of one of the finest journalists of the broadcast world.

Jeff Immelt, General Electric Chairman and CEO, said Russert was a giant in journalism and his face and voice is trusted by the Americans.

OK Magazine’s report further shared how Russert started his career working for Governoe Mario Cuomo, New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan until he became NBC News’ Washington Bureau Chief.
